Eyyup Doru, representative of the HDP in Europe, carried out a series of visits in the Autonomous Community of Galicia on October 11, 12 and 13, where he met with Galician MPs, journalists and academicians.
He also participated in two seminars organized around the theme of Kurdistan and the evolution of the current situation in the Middle East organized by Ana Miranda from the “Galiza Sempre” Foundation and Xavier Macias from the Maurits Coppieters Foundation in the cities of Santiago de Compostella, Coruña and Vigo.
The representative of the People’s Democratic Party closed its meetings with a conference organized by the Council of the municipality of Pontevedra in the context of a forum of reflection and discussion on the various issues and current trends in international political arena which focused this time on the news of Kurdistan under the title of a conference entitled “Kurdistan, the prohibited country”.
Eyyup Doru has extensively discussed the current situation in North Kurdistan and the dangerous strategies that are carried out by the Turkish state towards its kurdish citizens, the extension of those strategies in the region and the vital role of the Kurds in avoiding a deterioration of the situation on the ground.
